OUR ETHOS
Astley Bridge is an inclusive, community-focused, volunteer-run, multi-ability Football Club, which helps to give children and young people the opportunities to learn and develop their footballing journeys.
We believe in a culture of togetherness and teamwork, which helps to foster lasting friendships across more than 50 sides, from under 6s right the way through to our open age group teams.
We strive to create a safe, fun and supportive environment for all our girls, boys, women and men to play in, with all our coaches trained in safeguarding, in order to continually look out for the welfare of the teams.
We are proud to celebrate the cultural diversity of our town and feel this is reflected in the make up of our teams and volunteers. We promote an environment where all are welcome and difference is a cause for inclusion and celebration, not division and exclusion. We have a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, harassment, and any form of unfair treatment, we treat any such cases with confidentiality and prompt investigation.
Having teams across a range of different levels, helps us to offer opportunities for all ability ranges, whether a playing is beginning their life in football or seeking to find a new challenge with a different team.
At Astley Bridge FC, it’s more than just Football.
